It's been 55 years since my 1st TBI and yes while it was a long road so far the positive changes to my character and purpose in life have offset the difficulties of the journey. I think that the single most important life experience post-TBI has been the Hope, and Faith that has been developed within me through my relationship with God. I didn't know the secrets about how to live life until I read the Bible, Psalm and Proverbs in particular. For instance King David experience depression as I did for so may years but yet God blessed him. I realized that I have a future and a hope that was planned by God before I was born. I learned of the value that I have in God's plans for the world.
