With me, the walking came along after loads of physical thereapy.
But, the back pain i still struggle with.
And, the short term memory probs just are what they are.
It's like an invisible disability. Most other non brain injured people
just don't understand it. But, that's okay. I have learned a much
deeper dependance on God because of it because i've had to.
One "moment" at a time. you can do it! :)
Hi there ~ When was your accident? Was it on the motorcycle in your pics? My accident was with my jeep in 1986. I was thrown out of my jeep and it flipped several times and the jeep landed upside down on top of me crushing my head and body. Here by the grace of God.
Would you like to be new friends here? Tell me about your accident.
Don't take to heart what comes out of a loved ones mouth as every random thought is going through their head and the hurt filters let things come out of our mouth that should not. Good news it gets better bad news it takes time…
a problem with society and brain injury is that society only believes in what it can see or touch leaving survivors non existent or a lie and we are neither open your heart about brain injury because it really could happen to you if not you it…
