Tee Bone, The Tacoma Brain Injury Support Group meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at TACID (Tacoma Area Coalition for Individuals with Disabilities is right next to TCC on 19th) between 7-9pm. We are a large active group and usually have between 20-30 people at every meeting. Sometimes we get close to 40 :). I canceled our annual Holiday Dance/Gala for tonight due to the snow but have resceduled it for January 8th between 6-9. We also had a wonderful Christmas dinner last week before the snow came. While we have the meetings at TACID, we also do a lot of other things like attend the Puyallup Fair together, go to conference, hold events, summer picnics ect. Our other meetings might include speakers, movies or our favorite, Group Talk. It is the most wonderful group of people, i've ever had the pleasure to be involved with and I sincerely welcome you to join us. My support groups website is home.comcast.net\~tbisg if you want to learn more about our history, see pictures or read our poetry. My telephone number is listed on the webpage and feel free to give me a call. :)
