Folks, we have got to be proactive. The new administration heralds sharp policy changes, changes that will affect TBI survivors and their families.I am not getting up on a soapbox and telling you how to vote, how to think. I simply implore you to weight the evidence and see if any proposed changes are likely to be helpful--or harmful. If the latter, TAKE ACTION! Call your Senators & Representative. Woo Hoo! I crossed the finish line. . . now what?

I must confess that I have neglected a lot during the past year-and-a-half.  I have neglected my three kids, each special and wonderful in his or her own way, and each needing extra input from Dad.  I have neglected my mom, who has given mightily to aid me in my quest to finish my my Masters in Social Work (I'm sure it's just ego that makes me think that I am a rarity, a survivor of serious TBI who went on to get a graduate degree, but…
