Hi Ruth, Nice poem you wrote. Some cool lines in it. I've not put music on here yet but you can hear a few of my songs on my music site or my myspace website. The lyrics are there and so is a bit of my bio if you care to check it out. Let me know what you think! Thanks.
I just read your comment on Ning. I think of death too but not for hours. My tbi happened as a child. I am now an adult and I am still struggling with therapy and doctors and pain. But I take each day at a time. We are here because God wants us here for a reason. Either to help others or to learn or who knows. But we are here. And along with our tbi we have to I guess just deal with it. Do the best that we can and move on with life. And remember that there are people out there who are worse off than us. When I had my tbi I had to relearn how to walk and to talk and to do everything over again. My doctors and nurses did nopt think I was going to live but I did. It took me two years to learn to walk and about four years to learn to talk real well. My left side is still partly paralyzed but I like to help others and encourage kids to do good in school and do me a favor and try to think positive about being alive because we are lucky. Staying busy helps me. I used to attend the tbi meetings here and I enjoy therapeutic parks and recreation activities and I help my mom babysit. But those are just some positive ideas to help you.
Have a great day
I did get the advise I was looking for. I went to Olympia on Tuesday to try to keep the budget going for the tbi and I think we got the word out. How are you? I am glad to be home though. It was a worthwhile trip and I hope we get what we are asking. How are you? Got to go but have a great day and take care
