There is an effective treatment for the cognitive problems resulting from a TBI. It is called activation database guided EEG biofeedback. The research conducted using this approach. In a group of 19 traumatic brain injured patients, showed improvements in auditory memory of 185% or 2.61 SD and again the treated group was functioning 1.92 SD above the control group.
