Profile Information

I am a brain injury Survivor, Family/Caregiver or professional
Survivor
What do you find most difficult living with a brain injury
In 2006 I was involved in an car accident when a man driving a heavy duty Dodge Diesel Pickup ran into the passenger side of my Honda Civic.
My daughter was 3.5 months old and was in the car with me at the time. Thankfully, My daughter is happy and healthy, but I took damage to my upper brain stem which has had a very negative effect on all my motor skills.
I am unable to walk, use my hands, use the bathroom, chew my food, speak properly or even hug my daughter.
It is now five years later, and I live with my daughter, who is now five years old, and my husband of 21 years.
are you on another social network such as facebook, so we can varify your a real person trying to apply
I believe in the power of community.
