Great TBI training module. Short, concise, covers the basic information and make it human too. Highly recommend.

A Short Interactive Training Module on TBI.

The Center on Brain Injury Research and Training (CBIRT) has posted its first interactive training module, “Traumatic Brain Injury: An Overview.” This module offers a clear, quick, interactive means of introducing personnel to the topic of TBI and its impact.

To complete the module visit a target="blank" href="http://www.linkedin.com/redirect?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcbirt%2Eorg%2Fresources%2Finteractive-learning-modules%2Fmodule-tbi-an-overview%2F&urlhash=JW12&_t=tracking_anet" rel="nofollow">http://cbirt.org/resources/interactive-learning-modules/module-tbi-...>

The module takes only 15 minutes to complete. CBIRT will send a certificate to anyone who completes the module, takes the survey console quiz and receives a score of 80% or higher.

Hello everyone,

I hope that you don't get too tired of my suggestions.
When I read about this book and looked at the pictures that were in the article,
I thought that many of us who had had a brain injury might be interested.
So, I'm planning to get it on inter-library loan and snuggle up in front of the
fire place to look at neat pictures.
This recommendation comes before I've seen the book.

The Brain ---- Fascinating pictures and slide show.
A book to get on inter-library loan, for sure.

‎"Does it have to end this way?"

Here are 2 powerful and moving videos.
Please watch them and then add your comments. Thank you.

TBI: The Silent Killer
www.tbiwarrior.com

Both stories are heartbreaking. Is it because of lack of awareness? Together, we have to educate and bring awareness on brain injuries to our communities. It is not only within the military. As you can see in these 2 stories, it affects both military and civilians.
